Dare introduces the ultimate in vanilla and strawberry flavours with the introduction of two new cookies to the Dare Ultimate line - Vanilla Creme and Strawberry Creme. Toronto, ON - April 26, 2004 - Dare Foods Limited introduces the ultimate in vanilla and strawberry flavours with the introduction of two new cookies to the Dare Ultimate line - Vanilla Creme and Strawberry Creme. These new flavours are the first sandwich cream cookies made with no trans fat and can make a claim of 0.0g trans fat on the nutritional panel. As with all Dare Ultimate cookies, Vanilla Creme and Strawberry Creme are made with real, natural ingredients and have no artificial colour or flavour. The launch of Strawberry Creme also represents the first time a strawberry cream cookie will be available in the Canadian market To expand Dare's line-up of products developed without trans fat, the company is in the process of removing trans fat from all Dare Ultimate cookies with the goal of having the entire line-up contain 0g of trans fat by the end of 2004. Dare Ultimate cookies are now available in 300g and 350g packages at convenience, grocery and mass merchandise stores across Canada with a suggested retail price of $3.29 to $3.69. Dare's Nut Free/Peanut Free Options "At Dare, we understand our customer's increasing concerns about safety issues surrounding peanut and nut allergies and are committed to providing safe products that can be enjoyed by everyone, everywhere," said Lucinda Wallace.
