CFL GETS IN THE ZONE WITH DARE BRETON KIDS' ZONE Toronto, ON - The Canadian Football League announced today the launch of its newest online feature, the CFL Dare Breton Kids' Zone. Targeted at children ages 8-14, the Kids' Zone provides a unique look at Canadian football with content, games and contesting aimed directly at the new generation of CFL fans. The announcement comes one week after the launch of CFL FSN, the fantasy game destination site for the Canadian Football League. Developed in partnership with Dare Foods, WebFeat and Sheridan College students, the CFL Dare Breton Kids' Zone allows the League to further extend it reach and better engage fans through dedicated, interactive information detailing the ins and outs of football in Canada. Content on the site includes Football 101, four new Flash games, weekly feature articles, CFL player profiles, stories written by fans, and a 'Hometown Hero Contest'. "We understand the importance of connecting with fans with the right type of content over the right type of mediums, especially the Internet," said Brent Scrimshaw, Senior Vice President of Marketing & Partnerships. "This new online feature represents the next step in our efforts to further develop www.cfl.ca and supports our ongoing commitment to providing CFL fans of all ages with the portal for unique Canadian football content." "We are pleased to be partnering with the CFL on this exciting, new online initiative," said Bruce Barber, Vice-President of Marketing for Dare Foods. "With a continued focus on reaching out to our key demographics, the CFL Dare Breton Kids' Zone provides an innovative way for our Breton brand to further resonate with kids and moms across Canada."
