Spring is in the air. The grass is greener, birds are singing, and it’s time to refresh your house! Since no one wants to be inside scrubbing when the weather warms up, try these few tips for easy and quick spring cleaning:

Before you begin, make sure you’re well stocked with the right cleaning supplies. This year, try some eco-friendly products. You’ll appreciate the natural scents, and these non-toxic cleaners can work just as well as chemical cleaners. Look for eco-friendly cleaning products in your grocery or natural supply stores.
Plan ahead & make a list of the big cleaning jobs you want to tackle. This is the time of year you’ll want to clean behind furniture, wash drapes, dust walls and make small repairs around the house.
Get rid of the clutter in your home by throwing out or giving away unwanted clothing and household items to local charities.
To make the most effective use of your time, work from the top down and inside to outside and will avoid getting what you just cleaned dirty again.
Do one room at a time to avoid unfinished jobs. You’ll feel far more satisfied seeing one room sparkling clean.
You’re probably already the master of doing more than one thing at a time …but it does really help you get through the cleaning quicker. Get the laundry started as you’re scrubbing your floors.
Don’t be afraid to hire some extra help. Consider getting help with big jobs like window cleaning, painting and other general repairs.
However, you plan your Spring cleaning this year, make sure to leave enough time to enjoy the warm weather!
