Dare Foods Launches Contest; Encourages Consumers to “Grab Life by the Tastebuds™!”
Dare Foods Inc., of Kitchener, Ontario, just announced an exciting consumer promotion in the US, entitled “Grab Life by the Tastebuds!” Centered around a contest with two $10,000 grand prizes, the promotion will run through the end of 2007.

Dare Foods is seeking people who subscribe to the “Grab Life by the Tastebuds” philosophy of living life to the fullest. To enter the contest, consumers log onto grablifebythetastebuds.com where they can enter themselves or a friend by uploading a photo and their story of how they “grabbed life by the tastebuds.” The deadline for nominations is September 15, 2007. From all the entries, Dare Foods will select the 10 finalists, whose stories will then be posted on the website. Visitors will then vote for the winners through December 31, 2007. The top two vote-getters will each win $10,000 to plan a “life-grabbing” adventure. There will also be five runners-up who will each win $1,000.

On the promotional website, grablifebythetastebuds.com, visitors will find a fun, interactive and informative experience. There are quizzes such as “What is Your Food Personality?,” or “Which Tastebud are You?,” and jumpstart tips for those needing help getting up off the couch. Additionally, contest nominees will be featured in a gallery.
