- 10 oz frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
- 1½ cups (375 ml) sour cream
- 1 cup (250 ml) mayonnaise
- 1 package dry vegetable soup mix
- Vivant crackers
Mix all ingredients well. Best when chilled for a while before serving
Make fat free or low fat version by substituting the sour cream and mayonnaise for low fat versions. Add ¼ cup chopped water chestnuts to dip for added texture. For a classic presentation, serve in a hollowed out loaf of pumpernickel bread.
