Master Data Analyst

Permanent, Full-time + Cambridge, ON

We are looking for a Master Data Analyst to join our Finance team in Cambridge, Ontario. Here you will work in a fast-paced environment with experienced and passionate team members with a goal of driving profitable business growth and delivering against our Made Better Promise.

Master Data Analyst

The Master Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining master data processes and system information. You will play a key role in ensuring integrity of material masters and bills of materials in SAP. You are able to work independently with responsibility for master data processes and governance, while supervising one direct report.  This role reports to the Senior Finance Manager – Supply Chain.

You are detail-oriented individual who will be responsible for material setups of a wide variety of raw materials and finished goods, across multiple production facilities. You must have previous experience updating master data in an ERP ecosystems (I.E. SAP). You will have the opportunity to participate in projects such as new acquisitions, new software implementations, and future SAP upgrades (S4/HANA).

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Maintain material master data, bill of materials, routings. Calculate impact of changes and communicate to key stakeholders
  • Manage GS1/1WorldSync process to upload new product data (Global Trade Item Numbers), maintain current product data, and assist in image certification
  • Participate in Budget and year-end processes: manage new innovation estimates, setup and enter all new standards, active in Cost Rolls
  • Responsible for vendor master creation/maintenance and also for important reporting processes (Stewardship/Circular Materials reporting)

 

Successful applicants will have: 

  • Preference will be given to those with a post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field.
  • Experience working with an ERP system
  • Understanding of Master Data/Data Governance/Data Compliance
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel
  • You have the ability to communicate effectively (spoken and written) cross functionally with all areas of the organization.
  • Preference will be given to those with experience SAP as well as someone who has worked in manufacturing/CPG environment or with Product Costing
