Sanitation Supervisor – Cambridge (Weekend shift)

Full Time, Permanent + Cambridge, ON

Sanitation Supervisor – Cambridge (Weekend shift)

The successful applicant for this opportunity is highly motivated and results oriented.  You will provide leadership through effective communication, coaching/ training and direct resources, to achieve desired objectives.  The expectation for every employee of this facility is to work cooperatively as part of the team to produce safe, high quality food products, efficiently and effectively.

As a member of the Production team, you will be responsible for:

  • Promoting and ensuring the health and safety of the team
  • Deliver and report against Health and Safety, Quality, On Time Delivery, and Standard Cost KPI’s
  • Ensure that food safety, GMP's and quality standards are met, and that standard operating procedures are followed.
  • You will schedule and ensure the correct allocation of resources to achieve production standards and meet cost targets, thereby striving to meet and exceed customer service levels.
  • You will use your analytical skills to identify, justify and implement continuous improvement opportunities and provide accurate and timely reporting of production metrics.
  • You will build / reinforce a teamwork environment among your direct reports and your coworkers.

 

A diploma or degree in food science, engineering, business or other related field, Green Belt certified, coupled with a minimum five years’ experience in a consumer-packaged goods, food manufacturing, or line processing manufacturing environment would be considered assets.  You have familiarity or experience working with TPM or Lean Six Sigma, HACCP, CFIA and SQF policies/requirements and have also obtained certification as a JHSC member.
