Breton Buffalo Cheddar Dip

Ingredients


  • 8 oz (250 g) brick-style plain cream cheese
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) each salt and pepper
  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) sour cream
  • 1/3 cup (75 mL) prepared Buffalo sauce
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) shredded aged Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) shredded cooked chicken
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) finely chopped fresh chives
  • 1 box (225 g) Breton Original Crackers, divided

Preparation


  1. Preheat oven to 400˚F (200°C). Beat cream cheese, salt and pepper with mixer until light and fluffy. Add mayonnaise, sour cream, Buffalo sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mustard and garlic; fold in Cheddar, Parmesan, chicken and chives.
  2. Scrape into small greased 4-cup (1 L) baking dish. Crush 6 Breton crackers and sprinkle over top.
  3. Bake for 15 - 18 min or until golden brown. Serve warm with remaining crackers.
