Buffalo Ranch Chicken Salad

This is not your average salad. This delicious dish makes a great lunch but it’s dinner-worthy too. The chicken and the dressing make up a bulk of the taste, but the Boulangerie Grissol Croutons add an extra special layer of texture and flavour that is irresistible!

  • 4 cups Romain lettuce (about two Romain heads – chopped, washed and patted dry)
  • 8-12 pieces Breaded Chicken tenders fully cooked and chopped into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup Carrot, cut into matchsticks
  • 1 cup Celery, sliced into bite-sized chunks
  • ½ cup Ranch dressing (your favourite pre-made or homemade recipe)
  • ¼ cup Hot sauce (your favourite pre-made or homemade recipe)
  • Pinch Fine sea salt & freshly ground pepper
  • 2-3 cups Your favourite Boulangerie Grissol Croutons


  1. In a medium bowl, toss the chicken tenders with hot sauce until fully coated and set aside
  2. Add lettuce, carrot and celery to a large bowl, pour over the ranch dressing and mix to combine
  3. Add a little salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Add the chicken and croutons to the large bowl and toss gently.
  5. Serve family-style or divide into 4 bowls.
  6. Enjoy!

For a savoury touch, add crumbled blue cheese.
