Ingredients

  • 4 cups Romain lettuce (chopped, washed and patted dry)
  • 4 strips Bacon (classic or turkey)
  • 1/3 cup Caesar dressing (your favourite pre-made or homemade recipe)
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese (grated or shaved)
  • 2-3 cups Boulangerie Grissol Restaurant Style Caesar Croutons
  • ½ Lemon (cut into four wedges)

Preparation

  1. Place bacon strips on rimmed sheet pan and bake for 12-14 mins at 350 °F or until crispy. Oven temperatures may vary. Check frequently to avoid burning the bacon.
  2. When done, take sheet pan out of the oven and using tongs place cooked bacon on a paper towel-lined plate to soak up some of the grease. Let cool completely before handling then crumble or chop cooled bacon and set aside.
  3. Add lettuce to a large bowl. Pour dressing over lettuce and toss until fully coated.
  4. Add Parmesan cheese, bacon bits and croutons and toss until all ingredients are mixed.
  5. Serve family-style or divide into 4 bowls with a wedge of lemon for garnish.

Pro Tip

For a little salty and sour twist on this classic, mix in four teaspoons of capers, drained.
