Garden Salad

A bright and elegant salad. Easy to prepare and a great addition to a brunch menu or served as a side to seafood or grilled fish.

  • 4 cups Spring mix salad greens (or a mix of Frisée, Red and Green lettuces), washed and spun or patted dry
  • ½ cup Cucumber sliced into thin rounds (about 1 small cucumber)
  • ½ cup Sweet peppers (red, yellow or orange), julienned
  • ½ cup Cherry tomatoes (a mix of red and yellow), cut into halves
  • 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Champagne vinegar
  • 1 tsp Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Pinch Fine sea salt & freshly ground pepper
  • ¼ cup Fresh Dill (chopped or torn)
  • 2-3 cups Boulangerie Grissol Classic Style Garden Herb Croutons


  1. In a small bowl, whisk together vinegar, lemon juice, honey and mustard. Keep whisking and slowly drizzle in the oil to allow all ingredients to combine. Add a little salt and pepper to taste and set dressing aside.
  2. Add Spring Mix, cucumbers, peppers and tomatoes to a large bowl. Pour dressing over and toss to coat.
  3. Add dill and croutons just before serving, toss gently and enjoy!

Pro Tip

Give your dressing a little kick by adding half a clove of finely chopped garlic and a tiny splash of hot sauce.
