Pub Cheese Spread

This simple take on a classic pub cheese spread served with Boulangerie Grissol® Baguettes Jalapeño Cheddar is the delicious way to get any party started.

Ingredients


  • 1 pkg (120 g) Boulangerie Grissol® Baguettes Jalapeño Cheddar
  • 8 oz (250 g) whipped plain cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tsp (10 mL) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) mild Tex-Mex seasoning or chili powder
  • 1 cup (250 mL) shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) chopped olives
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) diced red bell pepper
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) finely chopped chives

Preparation


  1. In food processor, blend cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce and Tex-Mex seasoning until combined. Add Cheddar; pulse for 1 to 2 minutes or until smooth.
  2. Spread pub cheese onto serving board or platter. Top with olives, red pepper and chives. Serve with baguettes.

Pro Tip

Substitute diced red bell pepper with diced jarred roasted red peppers if preferred.
