Ingredients


  • 1 can (170 g) water-packed flaked tuna, drained well
  • 4 green onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 stalk celery, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) black pepper
  • 1 individual pkg (8-pack) Boulangerie Grissol® Melba Toast Sourdough
  • 1 cup (250 mL) packed lettuce leaves
  • 2 pkgs cheese snacks
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) berries or chopped fruit

Preparation


  1. In medium bowl, stir together tuna, green onions, celery, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  2. Arrange toasts, tuna salad, lettuce, cheese snacks and fruit in lunchbox with ice pack.

Pro Tip

For a vegetarian variation, substitute tuna with 1 can (540 g) chickpeas, drained, rinsed and mashed.
